The National Chairman of DC-23 and Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Delta Central,in the 2023 general election, Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP has felicitated with Rev. Fr. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido on his well deserved appointment as Bishop-Elect of Warri Catholic Diocese in Delta State.
Chief Amori in a congratulatory message he personally signed, described his appointment by the Holy Father, Pope Francis, on Wednesday 28th December,2022 as Bishop-elect of the Catholic Diocese of Warri in Delta State as goodnews that came to Urhobo Nation in a good season of celebration.
Chief Amori who is also a dedicated Catholic member, opined that Urhobo Nation is indeed proud of Rev. Fr. Ewherido,a Professor of biblical theology and languages and Rector of the Seminary of SS. Peter & Paul, Bodija, Ibadan,having attained this great feat from the Urhobo extraction to Lead the Catholic Diocese of Warri.
