The 2022 edition of Mosogar General Street Carnival was historic as illustrious sons and daughters of Mosogar Kingdom, fantastically, colourfully and patriotically added value, taste and glamour to make the Carnival one of the best.

Mosogar General Street Carnival which started about 23years ago,is celebrated every 26th of December (Boxing Day) where illustrious sons and daughters,home and diaspora gathered to celebrate the rich culture of Mosogar Kingdom in unity and oneness.

The Carnival which was divided into Day and Night Sections,was topnotch as those who grace the occasion were fully entertained spontaneously and conspicuously with the various Ladies, traditional musicians,MC’s and charismatic dancers.

Speaking to Ovibel media,Comr. Tivere Akpeni who is the Chairman of Mosogar General Street Carnival alongside his secretary,Comr. Stanley Edijana, appreciated HRM. Sunday Odogu Okpurhe, Uduaka 1, Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom, leaders, mostly Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP (Okobaro of Mosogar Kingdom),Chief Chris Onogba (Candidate PDP, Ethiope West State Constituency), illustrious sons and daughters of Mosogar Kingdom and all the Ladies, for the various support towards the success of the 2022 general street carnival.

He prayed that God Almighty will continue to Bless Mosogar Kingdom,while wishing everyone a peaceful and joyous prosperous new year.

The uniqueness of the 2022 Mosogar General Street Carnival,was the wild jubilation of everyone at the carnival over the cheering news of the restoration of Mosogar light after 8years.

Some of the ladies present includes Atakunaku Ladies,Onogba Ladies,Inaya Ladies,Ejorhofo Ladies, Victor Aghew Ladies,Akara fans and others.

MC’s includes Comr. Eseoghene Oki (MC Sabino),Comr. Erhuvwetere Aghew (Voltage MC),Romeo Oki (MC Romeo),Comr. Ufuoma Avwunokpa (MC Unusual) and others.
