BREAKING: MOSOGAR KINGDOM CONDEMNED KILLING, KIDNAPPING AND RAPING BY FULANI HERDSMEN.

…….Calls for Government Intervention.

Mosogar Kingdom has condemned the activities of Fulani Herdsmen who are terrorizing farmers in their farmlands.

In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Ovie-In-Council, Chief Silver Anuwa today Monday 12th December,2022, he recounted how the Fulani Herdsmen have made life unbearable for the people in Mosogar Kingdom through their nefarious activities of killing, kidnapping and raping women who are majorly farmers in their various farmlands.

He noted that over the last few months, Fulani Herdsmen have dehumanized the people, unleashing pains and subjecting them to total slavery in their own lands by not only attacking the defenseless women and men with weapon but also using cows to destroy their crops and intimidate the farmers in their farms.

He narrated how one Mr. Solomon Erisohwode was gruesomely murdered in the early hours of today.

“On behalf of our reverend Monarch, HRM Sunday Odogu Okpurhe, Uduaka 1, Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom, the Ovie-In-Council and entire people of Kingdom, I condemned the activities of these Herdsmen in Mosogar Kingdom.

The Fulani Herdsmen have made life unbearable for the people of Mosogar Kingdom through their nefarious activities of killing, kidnapping and raping of our women who are majorly farmers.

Over the last few months, the Fulani Herdsmen have dehumanized the people,unleashing pains and subjecting them to total slavery in their own lands by not only attacking the defenseless women and men with weapon but also using cows to destroy their crops and intimidate the farmers in their farm.

Sadly,the most recent, is the gruesome murdered of one Mr. Solomon Erisohwode an indigene of Mosogar Kingdom in the early hours of today.

I want to call on the government at all levels and security operatives to interven in the security challenges in Mosogar, mostly the village communities and curb the wicked activities of the Herdsmen before the situation gets out of hands.

As it is,our youths are already losing patience and angered to take laws into their hands since they can’t watch Herdsmen taking over their lands, killing, kidnapping and raping their people unabatedly.

Finally,I call on our youths and the good people of Mosogar Kingdom to remain law abiding and peaceful as the situation is already under intense control by our Monarch, HRM. Sunday Odogu Okpurhe, Uduaka 1, Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom” he said.
