The National President of Urhobo Youth Association (UYA),Prince Amb. Dr. Pureheart O. Kpeji has bagged “Young Pace-Setter and Innovator Award from Urhobo Progress Union(UPU),the apex social cultural organization in Urhobo Nation.
The Award was given to him in recognition of his demonstrated leadership ability and contribution to the advancement of Urhobo Nation by the oldest social cultural organization in Nigeria.
The dogged and vibrant President of UYA,Prince Kpeji who has over the years made tremendous impact through his selfless and unwavering support towards the Urhobo people, particularly youths in Lagos State, dedicated the Award to God Almighty and Urhobo Youth Association all over the nation.
Speaking with ovibel media at the Award ceremony/Urhobo National Cultural Day,held at the Urhobo House, Uvwiamughe-Agbarho,Delta State on Friday 2nd December,2022,Prince Kpeji hinted that, serving Urhobo Nation is a great pride and privilege which always comes with great reward.
He said “Urhobo is one of the best, unique and wonderful race any man will always wish to come from if there is another world after this very one”
He appreciated UPU President General, Olorogun Moses Taiga,the entire Executive and Urhobo Nation for the recognition and Award, nothing that,it will spur him to do more in the collective interest,growth and development of Urhobo Nation.
He was accompanied by Comrade Gometi O. Crested ( President – UYA Delta State Chapter), Comr. John Ijei and Comr. Ufuoma Yankohor.
