Leadership of Oguedion Council of Chiefs and Elders in Mosogar Kingdom were in high spirit today as HRM. Sunday Odogu Okpurhe, Uduaka 1, Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom reopened the plenary sitting of the House, shortly after the short recess due to the activities of the presentation of staff of office held on 24th September,2022.
The plenary session was graced by HRM. Uduaka 1,Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom with the immediate former “Otota” traditional prime minister,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP,who is also the “Okobaro” of Mosogar Kingdom and other prominent Chiefs,elders, eghweyas, and Ighele of Mosogar Kingdom.
Speaking during the session,HRM Sunday Odogu Okpurhe, Uduaka 1, Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom appreciated the House for their cooperation and support throughout all the process of his installation as Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom and ceremony of presentation of staff of office.
He further called on the good people of Mosogar Kingdom to join hands with him even as he work to address all the pertinent issues, adding that much can only be achieved with continuous support and cooperation from the entire kingdom.
Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP also speaking, applauded the entire kingdom for standing firmly behind His Royal Majesty, Uduaka 1,Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom,which made it possible for the process of the Ovieship to be fully completed.He reassured His Royal Majesty,that the kingdom will continue to support and quene behind him,in order to continuously move forward and bring more development to Mosogar Kingdom.
Thus,the successful resumption of the Oguedion Council of Chiefs and Elders,means that every organs of governance in Mosogar Kingdom are fully in place to carry out their various functions and work in synergy with His Royal Majesty for the growth and development of Mosogar Kingdom.
