There’s a saying scripturally that, when the righteous are in power, the people rejoice. It’s a good testament of our incoming senator, Sen. (Chief) Ighoyota Amori (JP) Odidimadi of Africa.
“Senator Amori who is a geologist, hails from Mosogar in Ethiope West local government Area of Delta State. He speaks Urhobo and English fluently, he is very competent, experienced, sagacious and highly articulate.
“Chief Ighoyota Amori is a man whom have contributed immensely to the growth and development of Urhobo nation and Nigeria at large, he has given civil service Jobs to several Urhobo son’s and daughters. He has influenced several political appointments to many Delta Central people and even beyond.
“The most recent one was his total support for the actualization of Delta Central Governor comes 2023. Where he formed a formidable group known as DC-23, which went round the entire state to garvanize, lobby and propagate the need for Delta Central to take over from our youth friendly Governor, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, come 2023.
“Chief Amori who always says that he is an Urhobo irridentist, noted that he has good plans and programs that will definitely better the lives of our people both young and old when voted into office.
“It’s worthy of note that, Chief Amori is a founding member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State. He has served the party in different capacity, even presently he is still serving as the National Deputy organizing secretary of the party.
“He is the pioneer Commissioner for Education Delta State under His Excellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, where he change the lives of so many people.
