DELTA @ 31: URHOBO INVOLMENT IS SACROSANCT TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF DELTA STATE ~ AMORI

The National Chairman Delta Central 2023, a lobby political pressure group known as DC-23 and Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,Delta Central Senatorial District in the 2023 general election, Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP has congratulated the government under the distinguished leadership of His Excellency Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State,the State House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and all Deltans as Delta State clocked 31 today.

Chief Amori in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen,to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the State,which was created on 27th August 1991 by the then administration of Military President, Gen Ibrahim Babangida (Rtd),said that Delta State has witnessed massive development since its creation.

The political titan and PDP Chieftain who hails from Mosogar, Ethiope West LGA of Delta State, posited that for the state to continue in the direction of human capital and basic infrastructural development, Urhobo Nation involvement in terms of decision,policy making and governance is sacrosanct being the largest ethnic group in Delta State.

Chief Amori affirmed that the business of providing good governance shouldn’t be left with politicians alone,while he called on Deltans to be good ambassadors of the state in their respective profession and fields of human endeavor, particularly the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District.

“On behalf of my family and political associates,I congratulate the government of Delta State under the distinguished leadership of His Excellency Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State,the State House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori (Honourable Speaker) and all Deltans as Delta State clocked 31 today.

The state has witnessed massive development since its creation with the various successive administrations and we are still working tirelessly in ensuring,the state remain one of the very best in every areas.

Urhobo Nation (Delta Central Senatorial District) involvement in terms of decision,policy making and governance,is sacrosanct to continue in the direction of human capital and basic infrastructural development of Delta State.

The business of providing good governance shouldn’t be left with politicians alone, Deltans must learn to be good ambassadors of the state in their respective profession and fields of human endeavor, particularly the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District.
