AMORI BAGS EPISCOPAL MEDAL AWARD IN RECOGNITION OF HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE GROWTH OF THE CHURCH AND SOCIETY

The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Delta Central Senatorial District in the 2023 general election,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP has bagged an “Episcopal Medal Award/Honour” in recognition of his selfless, immense, generous, magnanimous and humanitarian contributions to the growth of the Catholic Church, Catholic Men Organization of Nigeria and society on Sunday 21st August,2022.

The award was presented to him by Arch Bishop of Benin, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr Augustine Akubeze at St Patrick Catholic Church, Ugbowo , Benin- City,Edo State.

Receiving the award,Chief Amori appreciated the Church for finding him worthy of the significant Honour in the Catholic faith.He posited that the award will reenergize, encourage and motivate him to do more for the church and humanity.

He further admonished Christians to show love to the society, while noting that every single generosity to humanity, has unquantifiable reward from God.

“I thank God Almighty for this great day in the chronicle of my life.Today has further reminded me to do more for the church and humanity.

“I want to specially dedicate this prestigious Award to God,My Family and Political family,for granting me the enablement to touch humanity in my little way.

“My sincere appreciation to the Church for finding me worthy of this significant Honour in the Catholic faith.This will reenergize, encourage and motivate me to do more for the church and humanity.

“Believers should imbibe the habit of showing love to the society because every single generosity to humanity, has unquantifiable reward from God.”he said
