The National Chairman DC-23 and Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta Central Senatorial District in the 2023 general election, Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP has felicitated with HRM Maj. Gen. Felix A. Mujakperuo (CFR),MNI,Rtd,(Orhue 1),The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom as he marked his 16-year-anniversary on the throne.
Chief Amori in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen,said the Orodje of Okpe,who is also the Chairman of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council as a great Monarch in Urhobo Nation.
He posited that the reign of His Majesty has brought tremendous peace and development to the good people of Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo Nation and Delta State.
Chief Amori who is also the Otota of Mosogar Kingdom and the Adjerese of Okpe Kingdom,a title he bestowed on him after he was crowned as the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom in 2006, commended the Orodje for his peace building initiative across Okpe and Urhobo Land, noting that,he is a lovely father who is open and highly hospitable to all,no matter the status.
“Today, marked the beginning of another milestone in Okpe Kingdom.
Our father,the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and Chairman Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, is marking 16th-Anniversary on the great throne of Okpe Kingdom.
His Royal Majesty was elected July 8th,2006 as Orhue1,the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.He was officially installed on 29th July,2006,making him the 4th king to ascends the throne of the great Okpe Kingdom.
His reign has indeed brought tremendous peace and development to the good people of Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo Nation and Delta State.
I commend His Royal Majesty, Orodje for his peace building initiative across Okpe and Urhobo Land and for being a lovely father who is open and highly hospitable to all,no matter the status.
I can’t forget the role the Orodje played during the Rites of Passage of our Monarch, Udurhie 1,of Blessed Memory and also joined other Urhobo Monarchs to Honoured our invitation.
