As a child, she picked tent in athletic games, though not so successful in her primary school, but her parents encouragement prompted her zeal and passion in doing so well by representing her secondary school in major athletic competitions.

During her secondary school, she represented Delta State at the National School Sport Festival (NSSF) in 2008,but she wasn’t serious, but came second in the long jump. This formed the beginning of her major competition. She stopped training for a while but her present coach,Mr.Kayode Yahaya who discovered she got a talent and fluent in long Jump, took her away from her parents to Benin, where he started training her.

With the strong Urhobo DNA she carried, she won her first major National title in 2012,and came second behind our very own Urhobo blood “Blessing Okagbare” in 2013 with a jump trial of 6.53m.These formed the basis of her breaking into the National stage in Nigeria.

She was later placed on scholarship programme, where she studied Tourism and Hospitality Management at the prestigious Eastern Mediterranean University Famagusta,North Cyprus by kits manufacturing company “Nike”
