ETHIOPE WEST UNITE FOR PEACE CUP (EWUFPC) 2022: OWOSO CALLS FOR UNITY AS OGHARA KFC VS MOSOGAR UTD OPEN MATCH AT OGHARA TOWNSHIP STADIUM

The maiden edition of Ethiope West Unite For Peace Cup (EWUFPC) 2022, organized by the Visible Transformation Executive Chairman of the Local Government,Rt. Hon. Pastor Nelson O. Owoso witnessed massive turnout as various leaders and spectators stormed the popular Oghara Township Stadium, during the opening match between Oghara KFC and Mosogar United today Thursday 30th June,2022.

Speaking during the opening ceremony,Rt. Hon Owoso called for unity of purpose among the three (3) kingdoms in the council including Mosogar, Idjerhe and Oghara.

He said the initiative of the cup is to strengthen the bond of brotherhood among the Kingdoms, discovering great talents and empowering the youths through football,which is one of the most popular sport in the world.

He affirmed that the cup will help to engage the youths and pave way for clubs to easily discover them.

The match ended 2:1 in favour of Oghara KFC
