The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Delta Central Senatorial District in the coming 2023 general election,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP has hosted Delta Central PDP family to “Thank You” political affirmation,to represent the District in the general election on Friday 10th June,2022 in his Mosogar Residence, Ethiope West LGA of Delta State.
The funfair political gathering, witnessed massive attendance of party stalwarts across the eight local governments of Central Senatorial District,to further celebrate and pledge their total support towards the “Ohwofasa 2023” project,which is highly driven for Urhobo Nation to have a strong voice representation in the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly.
The political atmosphere was charged by the various speakers,most of which eloquently stressed the need to work together in the actualization of the “Ohwofasa” project and ensuring victory for all the party candidates across board.They all advocated total reconciliation and admonished everyone to deliver his or her units for the Chief Ighoyota Amori Senatorial Project come 2023 general election, as his election and that of the President comes first.
Addressing the gathering,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori expressed gratitudes to leaders of the party,especially Chief (Hon) John O. Nani,who contested the Primary election with him, for playing a major part in his victory.
Chief Amori noted that,Hon. Nani made it possible for him to amend every areas of shortcomings,through the strong challenge,which made it possible for him to worked very hard.
To set the record straight on the falsehood which some persons are spreading on social media to cause disaffection and division between Mosogar and Jesse, that “he doesn’t like a Jesse man or always work against Jesse interest”,Chief Amori affirmed that,he has never worked against any Jesse man but supported all of them in their various aspirations.
Chief Amori further said that his mother,Late Mrs Obireyibo Amori of blessed memory hailed from Jesse and he has never hidden his support for any Jesse man.
“Firstly,I expressed my gratitude to leaders of the party, especially Chief (Hon) John O. Nani,who contested the Primary election with me and made it possible for the victory.
Hon. Nani made it possible for me to buckle up and amend every shortcomings in my life,through the strong challenge,which made it possible for him to worked very hard
I appreciated him for contesting and making it possible for me to be victorious,because the victory wouldn’t have come without him challenging me and he has since demonstrated sportsmanship and support in the general election.
I have never worked against any Jesse man since 1998 till date but supported all of them in their various aspirations.
My mother is from Jesse and she was buried in Jesse.I lived with my mother in Jesse growing up and I always supported various people from Jesse.I have made my contributions to the growth of Jesse.
My victory at the just concluded primary election was for all the eight local governments in Delta Central.
I will not disappoint the Urhobos,I will fight for the caused of Urhobo in the Red Chamber come 2023.
I will continue to work with the party members as a team in other for the party ( PDP) to become victorious in the up coming elections.
