The Divisional Police Officer, DPO of Sapele Police Station, Sapele, CSP Harrison Nwaobosi, has postponed its stakeholders and residents town hall meeting billed for Saturday.
On Thursday the DPO had called for a town hall meeting of stakeholders and residents in Sapele to discuss ways to ameliorate the rising rate of insecurity across the town.
However, Nwaobosi on Friday announced that the meeting has been postponed due to exigencies.
In the statement, Nwaobosi who apologized for the inconveniences the postponement must have caused, said the postponement was till further notice.
The statement read “Following the town hall meeting called for Saturday at the Sapele town hall to discuss insecurity in the town, the meeting has been postponed till further notice due to exigencies.
“Let me apologise for the inconveniences the postponement would have caused some persons” the short statement read.
