The Governor of Delta State,His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa,His Excellency Chief James Onanefe Ibori (Former Governor of Delta State),His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan (Former Governor of Delta State) and Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori (Speaker Delta State House of Assembly) are some of the top dignitaries set to attend the Grand Reception of the 21-days Rites of Passage of HRM Samson Okirhioboh Imoyin-Omene,The Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom.
Others are Deputy Speaker (Delta State House of Assembly), Rt Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor,host of National and State Assembly Members, Commissioners,Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission (HASC) Members and other government functionaries.
The Grand Reception will take place at the Palace,Off Chief Ighoyota Amori Drive,Mosogar Town,Ethiope West LGA, Delta State on Friday 22nd April,2022.
Speaking during his inspection visit at the Palace, Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP who is the ‘Otota’ of Mosogar Kingdom, noted that “all plans are in place to receive and play host to the “Three Wise Men” in Delta State (HE. Sen.Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa,HE. Chief James Ibori and HE.Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan) and all other government functionaries coming to honour our departed Monarch.
All indigenes and friends of the Kingdom are enjoined to attend and be seated by 10am prompt. Attendance at the Grand Reception is mandatory” Otota concluded.
Recalled,HRM Samson Okirhioboh Imoyin-Omene was crowned (Coronated) as the first king of Mosogar immediately after the creation of the Kingdom in 2006 and subsequently presented a staff of Office in 2007 by His Excellency Chief James Onanefe Ibori who was ably represented by his Deputy,His Excellency Chief Benjamin Elue.
