The Senator awaiting swearing-in at the Upper Legislative Chamber of the National Assembly for Delta Central,Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP,Ethiope West LGA House of Assembly signed and sealed,Chief Hon. Chris Onogba and other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party were among dignitaries that bid farewell to Late High Chief Samuel Erikefe Okoro JP today Saturday 16th April,2022 at Onyobru-Jesse, Ethiope West LGA,Delta State.
Chief Amori and his entourage was warmly received by the Children of the great icon.
Speaking during the ceremony,Chief Amori described Late Chief Okoro as a great man,who lived an exemplary life and contributed greatly to the growth and development of the PDP in Ethiope West and Delta State in general.
He further prayed for the children to be successful in all endeavors having buried their father peacefully and honourably.
Shortly before leaving the ceremony,Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori exchanged pleasantries with elders of Onyobru and the family of Late Chief Okoro,where he supported their tables with undisclosed sum of money.
