AS URHOBO LEADERS ENDORSES AMORI FOR SENATE

Politics in Delta Central and indeed Delta State took new dimension as Former Governor of Delta State,His Excellency Chief James Onanefe Ibori (National Leader) and other bigwigs of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta Central Senatorial District, unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP to represent the district at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly come 2023 on Saturday 19th March,2022 at Mosogar,Ethiope West LGA,Delta State.
The Odidigboigbo of the universe,Chief James Ibori who was a special guest of honour during the official declaration of his bossom friend and brother,Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori whose political sojourn started far back early 90s,spoke extensively on the need for Urhobo people to send the best,capable and popular man,who is tested and trusted to the Nigerian Senate.
“Today,there are many issues going on which I don’t want to go into.The Senate is Urhobo mandate,and I am a stakeholder in Urhobo Nation.Chief Amori is a man we can rely on,because anytime you send him message,he never disappoint.”Ohwofasa” meaning Amori best suitable to occupy the exotic seat meant for the Urhobo people.
“He is a man who have been fighting all the battles since the political struggle of the state.Where are those who are jumping for Senate when Chief Amori was paying the costly sacrifice for Urhobo Nation in the battlefield? I can’t allow Chief Amori to work and somebody from nowhere will now come and enjoy the fruit of his hard labour.
“Amori bid is my bid,Amori mandate is Urhobo mandate,we need a man who is tested and trusted according to what each of the speakers have said and Chief Amori is best qualified to represent Urhobo Nation at this time.
“It is true many of you have money and the money you all made through this politics.You have money,but this is not the matter of money.This is a matter of Urhobo interest and Amori is the only man carrying Urhobo interest.
I am even begging you,yet you don’t want to listen because you think you have money.Well,is only God that will contend with you.
He further advised all those nurturing ambition for the Senate to enter their house and everyone should also call their children inside house noting that who fight Amori fight Ibori.
Chief Ibori said it emphatically that,he is the one contesting the Senate and anyone who fight him will have God to contend with.He pleaded with Delta Central to support and work very hard to ensure Chief Amori is return elected come 2023 as senator.He opined that, everyone should work to deliver him as he is the owner of the ticket,which Urhobo have today unanimously given to him.
Accepting the call to run,Chief Amori appreciated Chief Ibori and everyone in Delta Central for standing by him all these years,while promising to do more if elected.
Chief Amori noted that he is not new in the politics of National assembly,and Urhobo will witness massive development under him as a Senator.
Highlight of the political carnival was the official raising of Chief Amori’s hand by H.E Chief Ibori as a symbol of endorsement and telling others to “Park Well” for Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori who formally accept the call and declared for the Senate as he made himself available as a “Vessel of Honour” to Savage, rebuild, reunite and reposition his people (Urhobo Naton),whom he has been patriotically fighting their course since his political adventure and continuously serving them better at the National level.

Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan (Former Governor of Delta State) Represented,Prof. Hope Eghagha (Former Commissioner for Higher Education Delta State),Chief Mike Adiotomre,serving and past commissioners,Former Reps members,Chairman of LGA,Traditional Chiefs from Delta North and across Delta Central,Various interest groups including Isoko/Urhobo Nollywood led by a veteran Nollywood actor,Chief Tony Akposheri (Zakky),PDP leaders and members across the 8 Local Governments in Delta Central and many others
