…KINGDOM TO RETURN TO NORMAL LIFE, OTHER CEREMONY TO HOLD,EXCEPT BURIAL.
Mosogar kingdom dissolved enforcement committee as the official mourning period in honour of HRM Samson Okirhioboh Imoyin-Omene,Udurhie 1st,The Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom who transcended to the great beyond to continue living with our ancestors elapsed today.
In a meeting with Ovie-In-Council,Council of elders and Chiefs, and all stakeholders,the kingdom formally ended the observed three (3) months mourning period which began on the 18th of December 2021 and lasted till today 18th March,2022.This is inline with the custom, tradition and enshrined in the gazette of Mosogar Kingdom.
Therefore,all indigenes and everyone living in Mosogar Kingdom are enjoined to go about their normal life.All Chiefs and indigenes to also return to their normal way of dressing.All ceremonies including marriage, birthday e.t.c to hold except burial which is forbidden to hold pending the burial of our reverend Monarch.
Meanwhile,the 21-days burial ceremony of His Royal Majesty has been scheduled to hold between Saturday 9th April and Friday 29th April,2022.
The Otota of Mosogar Kingdom,High Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP speaking during the brief meeting, appreciated all Mosogar sons and daughters for their peaceful demonstration and co-operation all through the 3-months mourning period,while he also appealed to everyone to be law abiding and support the leadership of the kingdom in giving our monarch a befitting burial.
