The Chairman of Ethiope West LGA of Delta State,Rt. Hon. Pastor Nelson Oghenedoro Owoso has imposed curfew in the affected areas of Mosogar, Ethiope West LGA of Delta State.
The affected areas includes Akadoro,Ugwaja, Ugbeide, Market Road and Old maternity Road.
The curfew is between 7p.m to 7a.m starting from today Friday 11th February,2022.
The statement read:
“The Executive Chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Council,Rt. Hon. Pst. Oghenedoro Nelson Owoso,has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in five communities/areas in Mosogar Kingdom from 7p.m – 7a.m.The curfew became necessary due to destruction of properties in the affected communities/areas.
The affected communities/areas are Akadoro Community, Ugwaja Community, Ugbeide Community,Market Road and Old maternity Road.
The vigilante group in these aforementioned communities/areas are hereby mandated to submit their arms and ammunition in their possession to Divisional Police Officer in Mosogar”
