The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, Olorogun (Barr) Kingsley Esiso has admonished all aspirants under the party not to discussed their opponent negatively,when doing their consultations.
Esiso gave the advised during the PDP Delta Central leaders/Stakeholders meeting held today Friday 11th February,2022 at the Central Secretariat,Ughelli,Delta State.
Addressing party faithfuls across the eight (8) local governments in Delta Central,Esiso warned all aspirants from using derogatory or abusive comments against their opponent in the party.
He further advised all aspirants to sell themselves during consultations and also caution their supporters from using or castigating their co-aspirants,to make the job of the party easier,in campaining for whosoever emerged after the primaries.
“Don’t discuss other aspirants negatively,when consulting,sell yourself.
Know that PDP is one family and we must conduct ourselves as members of one family during our consultations.
We must do everything possible to know that the umbrella is large enough for everyone of us and it’s our duties to make the job of the party easier after the various primaries,by not describing aspirants of the party using derogatory comments.
Urhobo interest should be paramount in our hearts and I believe and support the zoning system in Delta State”he said
