Urhobo Progress Union (UPU),Asaba has commended the National Chairman of DC-23,Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP for his continuous leadership drive towards ensuring Delta Central produce the next governor of the state come 2023.
The President of UPU,Asaba Chapter,Chief Akpede gave the commendation during a thank you visit to Chief Amori by the Urhobo sociocultural organization leadership,on Thursday 13th January,2022 in his residence at Asaba.
The UPU leadership were highly elated towards the formation of DC-23 and leading the group to drive home the Governorship of Delta state to the Urhobos come 2023.
The highlight of the visit,was the presentation of an Award to Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori,for his Outstanding Leadership in Urhobo Nation.
Chief Amori receiving the award,he expressed great appreciation to the leadership of UPU,Asaba Chapter,for the warm visit and for finding him worthy of the Award.He noted that,the award would further strengthen the growing spirit of unity and harmony in Urhobo Nation,while he dedicated the Award to every sons and daughters in Urhobo land.
He further emphasized the needs for Delta Central to keep supporting DC-23 leadership and work together as one big family in producing the next governor of the state.
