The name Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori is a household name in Delta politics, having contributed greatly in ensuring polical stability in Delta State, since his sojourn into politics.
Chief Amori political philosophy and ideology cut across ethnicity and tribes, this is why everyone can easily relate with him on issue concerning the overall interest of the state and Nation.
Chief Amori being one of the founding fathers of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, precisely 1998,which culminated into the emergence of His Excellency Chief James Onanefe Ibori as the first civilian Governor of the state,in the new era of Democratic dispensation in 1999, worked very closely in ensuring the success of his brother, who is not only maternally related to Mosogar Kingdom, but also spent major part of his childhood together in the ancient community.
As a man endowed with strong leadership charisma, doggedness and who always open doors for easy accessibility,he didn’t enjoyed the fortunes accrued to his hard work in the success of the Ibori administration all alone, but raised alot of Urhobos, across the 8-local government councils in Delta Central Senatorial District, and other part of the state,to give a strong voice to the 5th most populated ethnic group in Nigeria and the very first in the State.
He brought almost 80percent of the present leaders if not all into the mainstream Peoples Democratic Party in the state, those claiming position of leadership in their various Community and allowed many have free ticket in the party, without stress, just to help and bring them up in the system.
Also,he introduced many of these leaders to His Excellency Chief James Onanefe Ibori by facilitating meetings with the governor, who was a bossom friend and brother from Mosogar Kingdom that time.Above all,he empowered those who couldn’t contest or get ticket of the party, through appointment, contracts and gave others direct employment where necessary. This was how Chief Amori raised many of those fighting against him today. Many of whom were very poor that time and God used Chief Amori under the Chief Ibori administration to polished their lives.
The duo of H.E Chief James Onanefe Ibori and Chief Ighoyota Amori have been together since the beginning of this political era and you have never heard where these two leaders who are friends since their early life quarrel, but all the new leaders raised by Chief Amori are the very ones painting him black and busy travelling from one place to another to give him bad names.
Today,Chief Amori being a man of honour who believe in good governance and also have the interest of his people at heart,he never relent in his pursuit for Urhobo Governor come 2023,even when he is facing distractions,he is focus, preaching the three (3) key words; Equity, Fairness and Justice.
He is determined and have unreserved apology to those fighting to sell Urhobo chances of getting the PDP GOVERNORSHIP ticket, for their selfish reasons of lobbying to become Deputy Governor in the state.
How can an Urhobo man be working with Delta South to get deputy governorship slot? This is a sabotage and Chief Amori is highly ready to defend his course to the end by standing with the vast majorities of the Urhobo people who believe in his leadership in returning power back to the Central Senatorial District of the state through his message of appeal,to other Senatorial Districts and leaders across the state.
Conclusively, those who are busy selling lies on social media to thwart the chances of Urhobo come 2023,we are watching them, remember every body can’t become governor at thesame time,so the need for everyone to work in understanding as we go into the electioneering period.Blackmailing Chief Amori will not work this time,as soap can’t enter our eyes inside water.
Amori is coming in 2023!!!!
May God Bless Urhobo Nation and Delta State.Amen!
