YULETIDE: OKAKURO OTURU SOLOMON ONOVUGHAKPOR VISITS THE ” OKPAKO EWGEYA ” OF ORHOAKPOR COMMUNITY WHILE HE DISTRIBUTES CHRISTMAS LARGESSE TO THE WIDOWS, ELDERLY.

In the spirit of Christmas and New Year celebration, The most viable PDP aspirant for the seat of the member representing Ethiope East at the Delta State House of Assembly Comes 2023, Okakuro Oturu Solomon , The Adjerese of Agbon kingdom, has distributed gifts items to widows and indigent elders in Ethiope East Constituency which has also seen him visiting the Okpako Egweya of his paternal Home of Orhoakpor sub-clan in Agbon Kingdom.

Distributing the items Today, Friday, December 24th, 2021, Okakuro Oturu appreciated God for the Grace to be alive to witness another Christmas celebration and explained that his intention is to take advantage of the yuletide to put smiles on the faces of widows especially the aged and psychologically integrate them into the Christmas celebration.

To further explore his reasons, He stated that nothing will make any meaning to a hungry person and that the major challenge to governance being a leader who truly wants to lead his people to victory, lies in reducing the poverty index. “Nothing gives me more joy than giving to the vulnerable and making life more meaningful to the less privileged members of the the society”, he said.

According to him, the yearly presentation of food items is not his first time of making life more bearable to the widows and the aged in the society who have no means of celebrating the festive period with members of their families.

The frontline PDP aspirant for the seat of the Member Representing Ethiope East Constituency @DTHA come 2023, stated that the exercise, was in response to giving back to the society a little from what God had bestowed on him, adding that nothing was too much to give to humanity in appreciation of God’s mercy and goodness on his entire family.

One of the beneficiaries whom happens to be the eldest mother/woman nicknamed in Urhobo language as Okpako Egweya Of Orhoakpor Community, prayed for him affirming that over the years things haven’t really been rosy and that it’s important to note that there so many among them who can’t afford to feed well and that at the end of each year, they fixed their hopes and looked forward to when ‘miraculous’ gifts will come to enable them celebrates Christmas and New Year with fullness of joy.

Finally she added, fate has found us today my son, and now we are beaming with smiles for we can now celebrate Christmas and New Year happily with enough to eat and drink. Indeed “This gesture would forever be remembered in our minds, and we prays God Almighty replenishes you in hundred folds and continue to make you wax stronger all strides of your political endeavors as you have make life more abundant for the downtrodden”, she stressed.
