Receiving the award in Portharcut,Celine Osaroekaa (1st Winner) narrated how it all started”Few months ago Doris Gomba Bliss posted about a talent competition organized by a kind hearted Nigerian based in abroad by name Barrister Enoh Sampson for the youths in the Niger Delta (Young Entrepreneurs) where winners will be awarded, given cash prices and other gift items. And because experience has made me understand that life does not convey opportunities with trumpets and funfare, I have built myself to be sensitive, prepared, holding on strongly to God, especially on something I have been waiting for.
So I grabbed the opportunity, clicked on the link she sent to the group, filled the form, went through the audition stage and was selected to be one of the contestants. I went through different stages in this competition ranging from display of my craft, writing challenge, rebus game and the most challenging one which was the voting stage.
On this Voting stage, I realized that having a skill alone is not enough. We need ‘PEOPLE’ to get to our destination in life. In this competition, I also realized that life is like a stage, whatever you’re doing in life, there are people watching you.
I got lots of messages in my inbox from people I never had personal relationship with, on how they’ve been watching me been dedicated and committed with my craft and because of that, they sent in their support to vote for me during the competition. I was amazed at the love and support I got during this competition and I asked God if I really deserve this great honour?…10th of May 2021 I was announced the winner of this great talent award in Niger Delta (Rebrand U talent Show). I got rewarded in cash (#250,000) and today I have gotten my industrial machine and a good smart phone for my fashion business, work is now easy for me.
I want to thank each and everyone of you once again for being an instrument of God’s blessing to my life by supporting me through your votes for me during this competition. I feel so blessed as I begin this Era of my life. Thank you” ~ Celine Osaroekaa.
