Critically analysing and x-raying the leadership prowess, dexterity and proficiency of Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP,one could say he has surpassed the margin line and done more than expected through his all encompassing and people oriented ideology which has broaden the political horizon,by creating the enabling environment and atmosphere leading to political awareness and increase participation in Urhobo Nation.

Prior the commencement of Chief James Onanefe Ibori administration in 1999,politics was seen in Urhobo Nation as a business of certain individuals,parents discouraged their children from venturing into politics due to their negative orientations and awareness.This grossly reduced the level of political participations across all Urhobo communities.

However,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori being an astute leader who played a strategic roles towards the success of His Excellency Chief James Onanefe Ibori administration,he leave no stone unturned as he didn’t only ensured the state witnessed massive infrastructures and development but also creates the enabling environment for the expansion and increase in political participations in Urhobo Nation.

Hence,the level of political awareness and participation in Urhobo Nation has increased geometrically,due to the well laid foundation of H.E Chief Ibori and Chief Sen. Amori,who worked cordially and tirelessly in liberating and changing the political orientation of the people,through various grassroot campaigns, sensitization and awareness.Hence,every communities or villages have a representative in the PDP family in Delta Central Senatorial District (Urhobo Nation)from Ward to the local government levels.

This is a structure built by a man who laboured and still labouring to ensure the largest and first ethnic group in Delta State, Urhobo attained the position of relevance and not be relegated in the state and nation’s politics.

Chief Amori has raised leaders across nook and cranny of Urhobo Nation and Delta State.But as the biblical parable of the healing of the ten (10) lepers in Luke 17: 11-19.Only one returned to show gratitudes and Jesus affirmed his healing,while the Nine ungrateful ones never returned.Today,many who were raised by Chief Amori are the very ones causing him pains, fighting him,thwarting and even opposing him in an election,that is supposed to be unopposed. Same people he laboured and fought for,same people who came begging and kneeling at the inception of their political career.He empowered and helped them to win election, gained appointment, contract and employment but instead of them to go and preach the goodnews of what they recieved,they are out spreading false news on social media,on thesame man whom God used to raised and nurtured them.

Conclusively,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP will continue to work with every Urhobo sons and daughters who believe in the Urhobo dream and project.This is a time to show the true spirit of patriotism and support him in this course,as he ushered us into new political order of self-sufficiency,that will harness, promote and reposition Urhobo Economy with workable people’s oriented blueprint.
