A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State,Chief Eric Dubu Onyan Obofukoro in his book titled “THE JOURNEY THUS FAR” pinned his political relevance in Delta State, to Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP,whom God used in laying his political foundation in the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

The book was launched in honour of his 86years Birthday Anniversary, alongside his wife,Dr. (ND) Princess Lady Christiana Ewewu Obofukoro ( Nee Consin Mosheshe) 76years Birthday Anniversary and their 51years Marriage Anniversary on Monday 27th December,2021 at College of Education Auditorium, Edjeba in Warri South LGA,Delta State.

Chief E.D.O Obofukoro noted that,he will forever be indebted to Amori,for laying the foundation of his political relevance in the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State.

“Let me begin the narration of my political achievements by first acknowledging and appreciating the one I call my POLITICAL MENTOR.He is Chief Senator Ighoyota Amori,one time the Chief Political Adviser to the Governor and Commissioner for Education in Delta State.

All the Political relevance I have today I owe to him,by the two terms’ appointment as Member Board of the then College of Education,Agbor now the University of Delta,Agbor and the PDP State Executive Council Vice Chairman and hence the PDP Delta Central Senatorial District Chairman, all with the approval of His Excellency,Chief James Onanefe Ibori,the Odidigborigbo of Africa,the first PDP Executive Governor of Delta State,Asaba.
