In recognition for the meritorious and patriotic service to humanity through decades of probity, accountability,prudency in investing and empowering people, steering development and influencing projects for the uncommon transformation of our society, Dr. (Mrs) Faith Ovie (Nee Adarighofua) who is a lecturer in the department of Curriculum Education,College of Education Mosogar (COEM),presented a photo protrait to the political lion of South-South,Chief Sen Ighoyota Amori JP.
Chief Amori who is the National Chairman of DC-23 and Deputy National Organizing Secretary (DNOS) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),was elated by the gesture,while he noted that this will spur him to do more for his people.
Chief Amori,a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, believed that a society can’t grow without building and investing in the people.This formed the basis of his well articulated political philosophy and ideology over the years, making him to earned the title as ” Minister/ Apostle of Empowerment” highly delighted and takes pleasure in the empowerment of youths and adult persons in our contemporary society.
Having broken the chain of nepotism and tribalism in our polity,his good works cut across every towns,villages,tribes and social groups.This is why his politics transverse ethnic boundaries of Urhobo Nation to others in Delta State and now in the corridors of National politics in Nigeria.
Finally,with his strong will, leadership prowess and sagacity,the Urhobo of Delta Central and Deltans still have faith in him, having distinguished himself and working assiduously in transforming and developing the demographic space and territory of Urhobo Nation and Delta State.
