Ethiope Federal Constituents jubilates as their Representative at the House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rep. Hon Ben Rollands Igbakpa rolled out yet another empowerment program.
Recall, November 21st 2020 during one of his empowerment program at James Onanefe Ibori Civic Center in his speech encouraged his Constituent that he just started adding that more will surely come.
Today, 14th May, Hon Igbakpa empowered his Constituent through his #IREP form in collaboration with the Nigeria port authority as a total of 45 persons returned home smiling.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Rep Igbakpa saluted the courage of the people of Ethiope to trust his vision at all cost. He believes that the grassroots played a significant role in his emergence as a Federal Lawmaker, therefore, committed to exercising every option that will alleviate their economic and political struggles.
“We have carefully selected many beneficiaries from Ethiope East and others from Ethiope West. We are going to ensure that we continue to deliver on our promise. I am doing this because of the love my people have and have continued to express for me. You fought for my course and many were punished for it”.
“This empowerment is not for everybody and we cannot empower everybody. But I will assure you that we will try to do better than what anyone has ever experience in Ethiope Federal Constituency. I have recognised a few especially for standing by me to actualise our collective dream for Ethiope Federal Constituency”
“I have started my empowerment programmes since 2019 and I will continue to do all that is required to change the face and economic outlook of Ethiope Federal Constituency. The betterment of Ethiope Federal Constituency is for all of us and my utmost desire is the experience widespread prosperity in this constituency. And my goal is to make sure that every household bears an item courtesy of my empowerment programme.
The empowerment and revitalisation of the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency have always been at the forefront of the agenda of Rep Ben Rollands Igbakpa. During his campaigns and the early days of his election to the National Assembly, he always identified capacity and confidence-building as an imperative for supporting the economic empowerment of his people, particularly the women and youths.
This latest show of interest in the economic and human capacity potential of the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency allows the constituents to initiate and contribute to macroeconomic viability and in line with the vision of Rep Igbakpa to actualise his cardinal objective of zero hunger in Ethiope Federal Constituency.
According to many of the beneficiaries, this signal of devoutness from Hon. Igbakpa encourages them to step out of their shadows and into their full potential. They believe that the vision of the Rep is the motivating factor that has greatly influenced the drive for skills acquisition amongst the youths and women.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke after receiving their packages expressed that they have never expected so much from Rep. Igbakpa and now that their expectations have been surpassed, they believe that it is up to them to explore and activate the innate capacity for the benefit of the general wellbeing of the Federal Constituency by leverage on the partnership with Rep Igbakpa for maximum impact in the lives of other Constituents.
The Ethiope West PDP Vice Chairman, Hon Ofotokun Andy Ovoke during his speech enjoined the beneficiaries to make good use of this great opportunity.
