The Deputy Senate President Sen.Ovie Omoagege sponsored two new bills during today’s plenary.
1.Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State establishment Bill
2. Dormant Accounts Funds Management Establishment Bill.
They were both read for the first time on the floor of the Senate.
The Federal Polytechnic Orogun Bill seeks to establish a Polytechnic at Orogun in Delta State to offer more educational opportunities, most especially technical education to the people of the State and beyond.
While the Dormant Accounts Funds Management Bill seeks to establish a legal framework for managing the challenges posed by the increasing tide of dormant accounts held by financial institutions in the country.
